I have lived in the borough for over thirty years. I joined the Liberal Democrats because their liberal values are my values. They stand for tolerance, fairness and free speech. They stand up for LGBT rights and civil liberties. While other parties hesitate and waver, unable to agree within themselves, the Liberal Democrats stand up consistently for what is right. They want an exit from Brexit, and a fairer more efficient deal for health and social care. I am standing as a councillor because I believe that their values can make a big difference at a local level, in our housing, our schools and in our services. The Liberal Democrats want strong communities, where everyone matters.
